Day 1....Hong Kong

Well, who knew 8.5 hours could take sooooooooo long?!? That was the longest night of my life! Well.....before tonight probably! Anyway, squishy turbulence and an ear that wanted to explode aside, we survived the trip intact, and arrived to a slightly dreary city.

We headed to our hotel, the lovely Marriott SkyCity, and promptly collapsed in a heap! Haha.

The kids checking out the view..

Blobs. Haha

The sillies then took over and we dissolved into stupid giggles over stupid things. You know, we returned to normal!

Before collapsing again.

yep.....it felt THAT good! So we had little nanna naps on FLAT surfaces (beds are severely underrated, one of gods true gifts to the world!!), before we ventured off to explore a bit of amazing Hong Kong, which had sorted out the weather situation, and was now sunny and bloody hot!

The apartment buildings are immense. I can't fathom how many people must live in these complexes. They are huge, and plentiful. I couldn't do it O_o

on the train from Tung Chung to Hong Kong/Central.

buildings...boats...etc etc

And of course, the cab driver who apparently wanted to kill us all...

Waiting for the tram up the freaking mountain to Victoria Peak. Amazing ride, incredibly steep, and phenomenal views!! Loved it!
....the view from part way up. Stunning!!
And some goose who was hanging around up the top...
Don't mind if I do, thanks Burger King!!

And so now we are back to the airport to suffer another horrible flight continue our trip onto beautiful Paris, and start our road trip in Bavaria!!!
Wish us luck on our dream for an empty flight so we can all have a row of seats to stretch out on, or better yet upgrades to business. YES PLEASE!!!
Love to u all, and big kisses and cuddles to my two R's.
Love Kel x
